Dr. Scott Smith
Dr. Smith has worked at Ramsey Veterinary Hospital since graduating from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine, in May of 1992. In July, 1996, he became owner of the practice. His areas of special interest include soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. He is currently a member of the Metropolitan Veterinary Association, Northern New Jersey Veterinary Association, and is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Dr. Smith lives in Ramsey, New Jersey with his wife and son. During his time off, he enjoys golf, biking, surfing and tennis.
Dr. Teresa Hlaing
Dr. Teresa Hlaing graduated from Cornell University, receiving a bachelors degree in Animal Science in 1985 and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She resides in Rockland County, NY with her husband, three children, and a menagerie of cats, dogs and small pets. In her free time she enjoys spinning, walking, working out at the gym, and volunteering for the girl scouts.

Lane earned
her doctorate
from the

of Veterinary
Medicine,
after finishing
a Masters
Degree
in Creative
Writing & Art
at NYU.
She then
completed
a competitive
internship
in Small
Animal
Medicine
and Surgery
at the
ASPCA in
NYC. She
is interested
in exotic
species,
surgery,
and critical
care. She
resides
in Bergen
County,
NJ with
her husband,
two dogs,
a cat,
a rabbit,
two lizards,
and a frog.
In her
spare time,
Dr. Lane
enjoys
reading,
hiking,
baking,
and swimming.
Mary Ann Grybowski - Hospital Manager
Mary Ann
was part
of the Ramsey
Veterinary
Hospital
team from
1982 – 1994
and returned
to Ramsey
Vet in 2002.
She has an
Associates
Degree in
Math and
Science.
Mary Ann
lives in
Sugar Loaf,
NY, with
her husband
- John,
cat - Emma
and rabbit
- Isabella.
She enjoys
hiking, kayaking
and gardening
in her spare
time.
Melissa David - Head Technician
Melissa
joined Ramsey
Veterinary
Hospital
as a technician
in 1998.
Through her
hard work
and dedication,
she advanced
her position
to Head Technician.
Melissa lives
in Waldwick
with her
husband -
Jeremy, dog
- Mavis and
cat - Tasha.
In her spare
time she
enjoys attending
Giant and
Ranger games
and spending
time outdoors
with Mavis.
